Outlook:  Deleting Email Addresses from AutoSuggest

As you probably have noticed, when you begin to type a name or email address in the To, CC or Bcc field of an email, Outlook displays a list of suggested email addresses.  If there is an address in that list that you would rather not have suggested, just scroll to it using the arrow keys, then press the Delete key to delete it.  Note:  You must select the address using the arrow keys.  Clicking on the address with the mouse will place it in the To field of the email.

Word and Outlook:  Creating a Mail Merge using Email Addresses

Did you know that you can perform a mail merge using a word document and email addresses?  Click here for the details.

Internet Explorer Tips

1.        Go to http://www.uncc.edu/

2.       From the Internet Explorer menu, select Tools, Internet Options and click the General tab.

3.       In the Home  Page section of the dialog box, click Use Current.

4.       Click Apply, and then click OK

Outlook:  Favorites Folders

When viewing mail in Outlook, you might have noticed a “Favorites” section directly above the list of All Mail Folders.  You can place frequently used personal folders in the Favorites section for easy access.  Simply right click on any folder and select “Add to Favorite Folders”.  You can also drag and drop folders from All Mail Folders to the Favorites Folders section.
