Current Projects

Web Time Entry

Banner Web Time Entry (WTE) is being implemented to give students and temporary employees the ability to enter their time worked on the web rather than completing time sheets. With this process, the ultimate goal is to pay these employees twice per month beginning in July 2009, but this will of course depend on the successful implementation of WTE.

Touchnet Bill Payment Suite Upgrade

The TouchNet Bill Payment Suite (TBP) is scheduled to be upgraded in mid March 2009, with testing to begin in early February. Banner Connect will be upgraded to version 5.0 in late March 2009 with testing to begin in mid March 2009.

Office 2007 Migration

The Business Affairs division is in the process of upgrading staff computers from Microsoft Office version 2003 to version 2007. Documentation and demonstration videos have already been made available. Each staff person or department may upgrade when it is convenient to do so but we anticipate complete migration by April 2009.

Business Affairs Website Design and Development

The Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs newly designed website went live in January 2009 followed by Internal Audit and Systems Development in March 2009. Currently a new site is being developed for Financial Services with the remaining Business Affairs departments to follow. The purpose of this project is to develop a uniform and cohesive Business Affairs web presence.

Banner Upgrades/Patches

Testing for the Banner 8 upgrade will begin May 1, 2009, with an anticipated implementation of October 2009.
