If you have columns of data that need to be converted to rows (or vice versa), you can easily convert the data using the Paste Special Transpose command. The worksheet below contains Regions and Months. The regions are in rows and the months are in columns.

However, you need the data needs to be represented in this format:

Select columns and rows in the worksheet, the click the Copy button on the Home tab. Position your cursor somewhere in the worksheet OUTSIDE of the range of cells you copied. Click the Paste drop down arrow, then click Transpose. Excel converts the columns to rows and rows to columns.
