Restoring the One Note Icon on the Status Bar

If the One Note icon is missing from your status bar:

  1. Open One Note from the Application Launcher.
  2. From the One Note menu, select Tools, Options.
  3. Under Category, click Other.
  4. Make sure there is a check mark next to “Place One Note icon in the notification area of the taskbar”. If there is already a check mark there, remove it, then check it again.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Close One Note.

The icon should be restored.
